“The lost.interactivelands.com site will have a complete makeover … and I think people will be most pleased. The new interface will be put together over the next one or two months. Along with the new interface there are plans to make the island more readily available to the public by allowing “guests” to join in on the fun without having to log in. Registered users will be able to “buy” space on the island using points that they earn. These spaces will be tents (like in the show) and give the users access to their own blog. “Plots” or “spaces” in interactivelands are limited and will only be available to a specific number of registered users. There will be events put together so users of the site will get to weight in on future enhancements, as well as kick-off new functionalities. We will be foregoing the beach message board, but current features such as the “Others Hunt Game” and the ‘Dharma Bus Race” will still be there.”
